BENTEX TORLAFIA is an award-winning IP Influencer (2024), Creative Writer/Poet and IP Consultant/Expert.  He's also a PhD-Intellectual Property Law Candidate/Researcher with the Faculty of Law, Nasarawa State University, Keffi-Nigeria. 

He's a WIPO-Harvard Law School PatentX Alumnus, and a member of the WIPO International Network for Intellectual Property Education (WINIPE).  He's currently the Managing Editor of the Nigerian Solicitor & Advocate (a monthly publication of Balanced Scales Media Ltd for Nigerian Legal minds), the Legal Adviser to the Obi Local Government Legislative Council, Nasarawa State, Nigeria, and a former National Legal Adviser of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA). 

He's currently an IP/Law Lecturer with the North-Eastern University, Gombe, Gombe State (formerly known as Pen Resource University).  His work cuts across also running a creative agency - Nasara Creative with some other young creatives in Nigeria, where they're championing the IP Space and provide IP support/workshops for Legal Minds and Creatives in Nigeria, amongst running several other projects/workshops as an IP Consultant/Expert with the WIPO-Nigeria Office and other National and State IP Agencies.
